this is how it worked in build 55000. Nowadays, you can just go to the Chamber of the Guardian in Dalaran (Broken Shore) to talk to the Questzertauren NPC -- but he might be in Stormwind or Orgrimmar, too. He teleports you to Isle of Dorn.

well, more or less true. But Thrall and Anduin have a growing up transition in the campaign questline. We'll see more of it in future 11.1 and 11.2.

Very welcome. I uploaded a second video with the same video but added the "Legend of Elun'ahir" book found in the Emerald Dream, and added the Harronir questline -- which is missing in the one you watched. This is just 11.0. If you read each dialogue, there are at least 2 sentences that seem to signal the Harronir don't live in Azj-Kahet. They came here chasing the female Harronir. She senses corruption endangering the roots. That suggests there is another zone we haven't seen yet where the Harronir lives. The Dragon Isles has currently 7 zones if you think about it. At the beginning there was only 4 zones + the Forbidden Reach (the Drachtyr starting location). But non-accessible to other players. Later the Forbidden Reach was added as a zone, then Zaralek Cavern, then Amirdrassil. It is then logic that more zones will be added eventually in 11.1 or 11.2.

I know the glyph is there. I don't need it. I have all the glyphs. These are here for people who starts a fresh level 70 character in The War Within at Launch. In Beta, you can create a level 70 character with all the 20 glyphs unlocked.

no. there are premade level 70 characters in the character creation UI.

Not sure what you were expecting coming to this video. I recorded me picking the quest. I showed the map where the Deadmines entrance is. The minimap shows you the portal entrance is on the west side of the tunnels. I got a group. Completed the dungeon. Turned in the quest. Maps shown. No clue what you were expecting other than what every other normal player comes to UA-cam to see when typing the title of the quest. Second, as far as I know, this quest no longer exists. There is no Edwin Vancleef boss after the Cataclysm expansion launched. If anything, the video is now an archive of what was there before Cataclysm. The quest might exist in World of Warcraft Classic, though. To Classic players the video might be useful.

Hi, Amanda. The only way to get this quest is to visit Rumiastrasza often. I am not sure if this is a daily quest or a weekly quest. I'm gonna assume weekly, because she provides 7 quests. The first quest is a 3-part. The remaining 6 quests have 2-parts. Complete each quest. Eventually, "The Sea Out West" will be unlocked. I have to clarify that when you are allowed to create a level 70 character for testing in alpha, when you talk to the tauren NPC, he gives you the option to unlock all the new Hero Talents points at level 70. You unlock those as you level up. So what you are seeing is a level 80 Hero Talents unlocked. One of them looks like the I-win-button. Stuff dies nigh instantly.

Alright. Did you also level without the talents? How did that fair?

@@JohnnyJaxmusic sorry, I didn't. For each zone, we had to create a new level 70 character, every time I chose the option to unlock all Hero Talents -- which raises your character to level 71.

yea, players can easily miss stacking Radiant Echoes from the Tauren NPC. I got 100 from the NPC in Stormwind.

This is still an alpha version and it's normal for it to not have the normal map implemented yet. So instead of the normal map, it's basically the minimap version but in the big format.

Indeed. In Alpha, the developers haven't yet added the map artwork assets. So what you get instead is a topographical satellite view instead of a map.

Very bugged quest. Abandon the quest. Try again, and again, and again. Hopefully, at some point it works.

Well, hard to say. To me it is Alpha. But some are calling it Beta. So... whatever lol. Actually, good call. The game launcher is calling it Alpha. So I'll go with that.

I see where the confusion comes from. The Launcher option says The War Within Alpha. When you launch the game, the loading screen says.... The War Within (Beta 64x). LOL

Yea, that last boss was a bit annoying. I had no clue what was going on. You have to walk to the candles that light up every certain amount of time, then bring the light to the big candle. But you see the boss' life go down so very slow -- and after a very long time when the boss reaches like what --- 50% health? He runs away and the treasure chest spawns. The AOE damage was brutal, too. I really don't want to play the Mythic version of that.

@Blizzplanet I'm thinking about m+ and don't see a current way of ever being able to time that dungeon in it's current state. Luckily this is just the 2nd week of alpha. Plenty of time to change things.

What is your description of unique: your wishlist. It is early Alpha. I don't think all the customization options are in the current build. I remember when the Highborne were introduced for testing, they had maybe half or 2/3s of the customizations. Later, in another build they added the jewelry customizations.

Abandon the quest, if that one gave you the hat, then pick it up again where he first gave you the quest (shown in the video).

Sometimes when this bug happens, the workaround is to logout of the game. Then login. It is a known phasing issue when there are multiple phase layers or shards in an area. If that doesn't work, the other workaround is to abandon quests that are nearby. Make sure to locate where the questgivers are to pick them up again later. One bug that is rare is if there is a nearby World Quest shard/phase layer conflicting with the quest you want. Completing that/those world quests nearby might solve the phasing issue. I've been a tech alpha/alpha/beta tester since 2004. Those are the things I do to troubleshoot awkward bugs in search of workarounds. If that doesn't help, you might have missed a pre-requisite to unlock the quest. I add all the videos I upload to youtube to a list in my website, linking to each video. Did you complete the previous quest? Look at the game description. I added a list of quests for the entire questline. This quest "Auspicious Gathering" is #3 of Chapter 7.
